Government-to-Government Relationships
This requirement is for federal agencies to abide by, but suggests that this is also an opportunity for tribes to develop their own government-to-government relationship policy. When tribes develop their own policy they describe how they want the relationship to work according to the tribes terms. NOTE: If a new US President does not like the existing Executive Order(s) then he or she can override them or delete them entirely. This could be interpreted to mean that tribes, if they are interested in doing their own government-to-government policy, should ratify them as soon as possible. Each federal agency should have their own government-to-government policy ratified by now, however many do not. This is a discrepancy that needs to be looked into and addressed appropriately.
